His scheme, Pledge To Invest, is designed as an “opportunity for forward-thinking businesses to make a strategic, measurable and high-impact investment in the future of youth leadership.”
Harry will also meet two young recipients of The Legacy Award on his trip to Las Vegas, while Archie enjoys his birthday at home with Meghan in Montecito.
The award, set up in memory of his late mother, honours exceptional social action and humanitarian work.
This won’t be the first time Harry has missed Archie’s birthday, after the royal skipped the celebrations two years ago due to his attendance at the coronation of his dad, King Charles.
For this year’s celebration, Harry will instead be in Las Vegas to launch his youth leadership drive.
He will also chat with Sikander “Sonny” Khan, from Michigan in the US, and Christina Williams, from Jamaica, as well as Paul Fipps, of Service Now, at the Knowledge 2025 event.
Tessy Ojo, chief executive of The Diana Award which was set up in tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales, said: “Companies that invest in youth leadership today are cultivating the workforce, innovators and consumers of tomorrow.
“The Diana Award is proud to launch Pledge To Invest – an opportunity for forward-thinking businesses to make a strategic, measurable and high-impact investment in the future of youth leadership.
“For over 25 years, The Diana Award has invested in young people, empowering them to tackle the pressing issues of our time.”
Mr Fipps said he is “proud to partner with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and The Diana Award to provide a platform that encourages other business leaders to invest in young people”.
This comes just days after the Duchess of Sussex shared three rare snaps of Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.
Meghan posted the adorable pictures of her son, five, and daughter, three, on Instagram.
Captioning the rare moment, Meghan wrote: “Sunday kind of love….with my little loves.”
The mum-of-two even featured in the first as she appears to hold a pink rose on a sunny day in front of her children.
It comes just hours after the Duchess of Sussex revealed Princess Lilibet’s adorable American accent for the first time.
Responding to her mother’s question about strawberry jam, the toddler could be heard with a Californian accent.
The secret ‘auntie’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s kids Archie & Lilibet adore – as Duchess says she’s their ‘favourite’
PRINCE Archie and Princess Lilibet have a secret “auntie” in California, Meghan Markle revealed on one of her latest podcast episodes.
On the third episode of Confessions of Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, said her two kids refer to one of her friends as “Auntie Kadi” when she arrives.
On last week’s show, Meghan sat down with “dear friend” and A-list colourist Kadi Lee, co-founder of Highbrow Hippie – which the duchess invested in last year – and said she is a huge hit with the kids.
Entrepreneur Kadi candidly shared on the podcast: “Maybe I’ll try a stint in Europe.
“I’m just a really naturally curious person, and I was not blessed with kids.
“I’m still holding out hope I might be a step mum or, you know, one day, but for right now, I’m just super aunt.”
Meghan cut in: “I mean, our kids love Auntie Kadi.
“It’s our favourite when they run out to the car saying ‘Kadi’.”
Kadi laughed: “I know I feel like I look for them first!”
Princess Lilibet, three, and Prince Archie, five, also call Meghan’s close pal and tennis legend Serena Williams “auntie.”
The duchess previously posted footage of her daughter with “auntie” Serena Williams as they played a game of Candy Land.
The clip also featured Bill Withers’ Lovely Day, with the caption: “When the aunties come to celebrate… and to play! Love you @serenawilliams.”
Fans have since gone wild over the adorable and “sweet” voice.
The mum-of-two posted several clips of them making the preserve on her Instagram stories.
Meghan showed herself pouring a batch of vibrant strawberries into a blue pot simmering on the stove.
She then asked: “What do we think Lili?” To which the youngster replied “I think it’s beautiful”.
The little one, whose face wasn’t shown in the video, could be seen tasting a sample of the As Ever jam with her wooden spoon.
