PRINCE Andrew has been labelled the “toxic spare” and told that he will never shake free of the infamous photo with Virginia Giuffre.

Experts declared the disgraced royal can’t do anything in public as the “mere glimpse of him is a story”.

PR specialist Mark Borkowski said: “That continual shot of Giselle Maxwell and him in that flat with his arm around her – it will haunt him forever.”

The photo of the Duke with his arm around Virginia was taken in 2001 and went on the be a symbol of her case against the royal.

Then 17, Virginia is seen smiling at the camera with Ghislaine Maxwell beaming next to her as sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein snaps the shot.

Mark told The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson: “He is the toxic spare.

“What do you do when you are bred to serve?

“The mere glimpse of him is a story.”

Asked if Andrew could find a way forward through charity work, he replied: “I think that he possibly could, in the background maybe he is, give some advice, you know, help people – use whatever influence he has.

“And he has a powerful network outside his country, particularly in the Middle East. So I think there are stuff he could do, but perhaps that he can’t go public on it.

“I think it is tough for his brand, but I think that there is an opportunity.”

Journalist Katie Nicholl disagreed, saying: “I think if there was an opportunity, it was after that Newsnight interview.

“That was when things needed to change for Andrew. That was when he should have shown some contrition.

“His daughter’s involved with anti-sex trafficking charities. I think best leave it to Eugenie and Beatrice doing the great work that they do.

“I just think that Andrew is, as you say, so toxic. I don’t think there is any hope of a rehabilitation for him.”

It comes after the disgraced Prince’s accuser Virginia died by suicide aged 41.

The mother-of-three was sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and accused the Duke of York of sexually abusing her when she was 17.

Her family said the toll of her abuse was “so heavy” it became “unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight”.

‘No way’ Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre died by suicide, Epstein victim’s dad Sky Roberts tells Piers Morgan

By Paul Sims

THE distraught dad of Prince Andrew’s sex abuse accuser sensationally ruled out suicide last night – and insisted: “Somebody got to her.”

Sky Roberts said that he “couldn’t believe” Virginia Giuffre had died by suicide, emphasising that there was “no way” it was true.

The mourning dad said: “For them to say that she committed suicide, there’s no way she did that. Somebody got to her.

“I don’t think she committed suicide.”

The dramatic twist comes just days after Giuffre was found dead at her remote farmhouse, an hour north of Perth on April 25 after years of torment.

Her family confirmed her death and said she had been a “lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking”.

They said in a statement : “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia.

“She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”

Virginia was one of the most outspoken accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and his ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

She alleged they trafficked her to the Duke of York when she was 17 – a claim Andrew has always strenuously denied.

The mother sued Prince Andrew in 2021, claiming she was trafficked and forced to have sex with the Duke on three occasions when she was a teen.

It was the first time she had brought action against him after going public with the allegations in 2011.

She claimed she was trafficked and forced to have sex with Andrew for the first time at Maxwell’s house in London after a night out at the club Tramp.

Prince Andrew and Virginia settled out of court in 2022.

He has denied all claims against him, and the settlement included a statement in which he expressed regret for his association with Epstein.

It contained no admission of liability or apology.
