Here’s the schedule: Tonight: Portugal v Switzerland, Thursday: Netherlands v England, Sunday: Third place play-off, Sunday: Final.

No idea why we’re bothering with a third-place play-off… but I trust UEFA with all of their decisions…

Don’t Google it!

18:50: So I’ve just been snooping around to see what the most searched terms are in regards to the Nations League.

The top searches? “What do you get for winning the Nations League?” and “Who is Joao Felix”.

I’ll endeavour to answer both of those questions – to varying levels of satisfaction – over the next little bit of time.

Starting XI…

18:45: And here come the line-ups – all 22 have obviously been linked with Manchester United over the last week…

Portugal XI: Rui Patricio, Semedo, Pepe, Ruben Dias, Guerreiro, Carvalho, Neves, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Ronaldo, Joao Felix.

Switzerland XI: Sommer, Mbabu, Rodriguez, Schar, Akanji, Zakaria, Xhaka, Freuler, Steven Zuber, Shaqiri, Seferovic.

18:40: Welcome to our LIVE coverage of Portugal vs Switzerland from Porto’s Estadio do Dragao.

We’ve reached the semi-final stage of the most prestigious and illustrious tournament created in the last 24 months – the Nations League.

Are we all excited? Me neither.

But should England win it… I’ll attend the parade, change my online profile picture to Gareth Southgate and herald it as the greatest English achievement in history.

Hosts Portugal or surprise package Switzerland await the victors in the Porto finale – so let’s get going!

Cristiano Ronaldo did not appear in Portugal’s Nations League group campaign but is likely to captain the European champions after being named in their 23-man squad for the tournament.

Four Wolves players have been included in the group, with uncapped forward Diogo Jota joining Rui Patricio, Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves.

Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva will be looking to continue his excellent form, while Joao Felix, Joao Cancelo and Bruno Fernandes will get the chance to show their talent to a wider audience.

Xherdan Shaqiri has long been the star of the Swiss camp.

Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji and former Newcastle man Kevin Mbabu are talented defenders, while the likes of AC Milan’s Ricardo Rodriguez and Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka bring nous.

Breel Embolo and Haris Seferovic are attacking threats on their day.
