Cops pulled a man threatening to jump off the Port Authority Bus Terminal to safety Thursday, photos show.
The man, wearing red shorts and a blue T-shirt, climbed to the edge of an overpass looking down onto Ninth Ave. at W. 41st. St. just before 11:15 a.m., police said.
Officers with the NYPD and PAPD’s Emergency Service Units tried to convince the man to climb back over the ramp as he clung to the wall of the overpass.
The officers ultimately attached a harness to him and lowered him down to the street level, photos show.
He was physically uninjured and taken to Bellevue Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
