The unnamed man remains in critical condition at the hospital following the terrifying scene, according to the Pittsburgh Police Department.
Cops deemed the fall an accident in an update on Thursday morning and declined to comment further when approached by The U.S. Sun.
But someone claiming to have been at the game has now shed more light about the moments leading up to the heart-stopping accident.
A person who said they were sitting five rows behind the man who fell claimed that he was drunk at the game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs.
During the inning before, the man reportedly “ripped his shirt off and poured beer all over himself,” the witness said.
