The pilot involved in the deadly helicopter crash at a Midtown skyscraper Monday has been identified as Tim McCormack, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The chopper is owned by a company called American Continental Properties Inc., sources said.
Police have said they believe the helicopter had been conducting “executive travel” and was headed to its home airport in Linden, New Jersey, when it made a “hard landing” at around 1:45 p.m. on the top of the 54-floor AXA Equitable Center building at 787 Seventh Avenue.
One person, believed to be the pilot, died, officials said.
A staffer at American Continental Properties Inc. declined to comment, but said its lawyer would be releasing a statement.
