Punxsutawney Phil, the weather-prognosticating groundhog, attends the 139th celebration of Groundhog Day in Punxsutawney, Pa. on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. Phil’s handlers said that the groundhog emerged from his tree stump in Gobbler’s Knob around 7:30 a.m. and saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter.
