At least 63 people are dead after heavy rainstorms struck parts of southern and eastern Spain, from Malaga to Valencia, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024. The rains caused flash flooding that turned streets into rivers, swept away cars and disrupted rail lines and highways. Officials say it’s the worst natural disaster to hit the country in modern history.
