When it comes to a big shopping trip, there’s no doubt you’d reach for a trolley for some help.
It’s always crucial carrying a £1 with you to access the trolley, but just recently people were left mind-blown by a hack to unlock it without needing a coin.
Now we’ve got even more life hacks to share with you as people are only just realising what the trolley hooks are often used for.
So have you ever noticed the hidden use behind the little feature? Over on X, formerly Twitter, the famous account Today Years Old delighted fans with the information.
In a post shared with the account’s 1million followers, it read: “Did you know?” It also shared a photo showing the trolley hooks put to good use.
The account shared a post where someone wrote: “I was today year’s old when I just learned what these hooks on a cart are used for.”
Since it was shared, the post scooped 344,000 views with 2,800 likes.
One wrote: “Hmmm how about that!” Another chimed in: “Wait, what?” And a third commented: “Never occurred to me.”
However, others were adamant to not take the trick onboard. A person joked: “No, but thank you!” And some even thought it was pointless.
They said: “Pointless, you don’t get bags like that till you check out…” And a second chimed in: “Ohh not even today’s years old.”
