A 63-year-old man crossing a Brooklyn street was fatally struck by an SUV driver, cops said Sunday.
The victim was crossing New Lots Ave. near Mother Gaston Blvd. in Brownsville when he was hit by the driver of a gray Honda CR-V about 10:05 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Medics took the pedestrian to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.
The 67-year-old driver stayed on the scene. He faced no immediate charges as cops continue to investigate.
