“This is something I had made for Patrick,” she said.
“I gave it to him and then I kind of took it back after he got back home from college because I was scared he was gonna lose it.
“It’s just fun to have. One day I’ll give it back to him.”
The caption of the post read, “Having a nostalgic moment…and spring break is bringing back all the memories from traveling with sports to team hangouts to tournaments. Every jersey tells a story.
“This quilt is a reminder of all the hard work, dedication, and dreams along the way.
“So proud of the journey and the memories stitched into every piece.”
Fans shared their emotions to Randi’s social media post.

During his childhood, Patrick also played in the 2010 Junior League World Series.
He got his baseball skills from his father, former MLB pitcher Patrick Sr.
But Patrick would focus on being a quarterback and his skills in high school and college led to him being selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Randi has shown her support to Patrick throughout his sporting career, including eight years with the Chiefs.
She has been in attendance for Patrick’s games, including his three Super Bowl wins and two big game defeats.
Randi appeared at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last month despite her father, Randi, who died at 78 three days later, being ill at the time.
