OBJ is taking his talents to South Beach.
Former Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins on a one-year contract.
Beckham’s deal is a one-year, $3 million contract with incentives that could increase its value up to $8.25 million, per ESPN.
He joins Dolphins speedsters Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in a supporting role on one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses in a pivotal season for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
He also reunites with former Rams teammate Jalen Ramsey, who reminded Beckham on social media that the last time they were teammates they won a Super Bowl together with Los Angeles in 2021.
“You remember what happened last time right O?” Ramsey wrote with photos of the victory celebration.
Beckham heads to Miami after playing the 2023 season with the Baltimore Ravens and catching 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
His famously productive five-year Giants tenure was cut short by a spring 2019 trade to the Cleveland Browns. He toiled there for two-plus seasons before escaping to L.A. and catching two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown early in the Rams’ Super Bowl win before tearing his ACL.
Now he is hunting a second championship with Mike McDaniel and a Dolphins offense loaded with talent that needs to get over the playoff hump in 2024 after bowing out in frigid temperatures on the road to Kansas City last winter.
