After 15 years of bitter feuding between Liam and Noel Gallagher, Oasis is “Definitely Maybe” back together — at least for a brief tour next year.
The Brit rockers each announced the 2025 reunion in synchronized, identical posts to their respective social media accounts. “This is it, this is happening,” they wrote, along with a list of the dates, all of which will take place in stadiums in the U.K. and Ireland next summer.

Fans expected a tour announcement was coming, as the long-estranged brothers both teased the date and time a day ahead. The initial post was followed by another that seems to acknowledge the elephant in the room: will they be able to get along with each other long enough to complete the tour?
“The guns have fallen silent,” they wrote, with a photo of them standing side by side as proof that they’ve been in the same room in recent history. “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Formed in the ’90s, Oasis split in 2009 after nearly two tumultuous decades. Noel made the announcement of his departure ahead of a festival gig in Paris that he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.” It was far from the first time the brothers clashed.
Famously in 1996, Liam claimed he had a sore throat and sat out the band’s MTV Unplugged performance. However, he still attended the recording and appeared to heckle the band from a balcony while his brother took on frontman duties.
Since their split 15 years ago, the brothers have kept the rancor going, taking shots at each other’s character and solo music efforts in various interviews and social media squabbles. Here’s hoping they can keep the hatchet buried for two months.
