Oasis fans issue urgent plea as they fume 'what about us?' after new show announcement

Oasis fans erupted with fury as they learnt that the two extra 2025 tour dates announced by the Gallagher brothers this afternoon will be at London’s Wembley Arena, where they are already playing multiple shows.

Fans of the 1990s Britpop icons are also angry that they splashed out on expensive tickets in the first sale, only to find that more will be released – and perhaps at cheaper prices. Hopefuls took to Twitter pleading for more shows in the band’s home city of Manchester instead.

They also called for “dynamic pricing” to be scrapped, after it led to some paying several hundred pounds per ticket in their desperation not to miss out while waiting tensely in the virtual queue. “What about Ireland??” one quizzed, while another begged: “Please release two more dates at [Manchester’s] Heaton Park.”

A third chimed in: “What about Manchester?!!”A fourth was unhappy no matter what the location, groaning: “Oh great, another chance to play ‘who can starve longer without selling their kidney for a ticket’ game. Count me in!”

Another fan pointed out that the type of sale promised by the Gallagher brothers in their tweet meant the sky high prices wouldn’t happen this time round. “For anyone wondering, a staggered sale means very little queuing and no dynamic pricing,” they insisted.

However, this caused even more fury among those who’d waited several hours in the queue last week only to be quoted huge prices due to “high demand”. Meanwhile, one man complained: “F**k just got one the other night at Viagogo for one of the previously announced Wembley gigs, £2580 I paid incl fees.”
