NYPD hunting for stranger who stabbed Brooklyn subway rider in eye



Cops are hunting for an apparently deranged man who stabbed a stranger in the eye in a random attack on a Brooklyn subway platform.

The 30-year-old victim was standing on a southbound train platform inside the Bay Ridge Av subway station just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday when he was suddenly attacked, according to police.

The stabber jumped on an incoming R train and escaped, police said, while the was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in stable condition..

The two did not know one another and the attack appeared to be random, according to police sources.

Police released surveillance stills and video Saturday of the man they believe responsible. He was last seen in a black graphic hoodie with a blue Amazon vest thrown on top.
