NFL legend Bill Belichick,72, is reportedly planning to propose to his girlfriend Jordan Hudson, 24
The pair have been pictured together around the United States on numerous occasions after their relationship was revealed in June. Belichick split from long-term girlfriend Linda Holliday last year, after getting together in 2007.
Belichick and Hudson’s relationship appears to be moving in the right direction at a rate of knots, with marriage seemingly on the cards.
According to The Sun, Belichick has been visiting shops around New York and Los Angeles to look for an engagement ring. The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach has visited ‘around 20’ different shops in the hope of proposing to his girlfriend.
Belichick has been considering marrying Hudson for approximately two months and he has even spoken at length with his friends about the best way to propose and ideal locations to take Hudson for their romantic moment.
With the NFL season ongoing, with Belichick parting ways with the Patriots in January after a disappointing 4-13 season, the coaching legend is waiting for the campaign to conclude before whisking Hudson away to propose.
Despite the 48-year age gap, Belichick feels ‘supported and understood’ by Hudson and is looking into how much he should be spending on an engagement ring to ensure it is a special moment for the pair. He is reportedly considering forking out £135,764 ($200,000) on a sparkly new ring for Hudson.
Belichick is said to have narrowed his choices down to two rings as it stands and is now looking to take Hudson on a romantic trip around the French Riviera, Italy, and then back to Croatia. He hopes the holiday will be capped off with a successful proposal.
