ANOTHER bone-chilling outage has been reported at the Newark airport, just one week after air traffic controllers lost all contact with planes approaching the runways.
Fliers begged for answers after the Federal Aviation Administration admitted to yet another 90-second blunder.

In a statement, the FAA said, “There was a telecommunications outage that impacted communications and radar display at Philadelphia TRACON Area C, which guides aircraft in and out of Newark Liberty International Airport airspace.
“The outage occurred around 3:55 a.m. on Friday, May 9, and lasted approximately 90 seconds.”
Fliers fumed over the shocking admission, as Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey had just struck fear across the country for experiencing an outage on April 28.
For 90 seconds, screens and radios went dark for all air traffic controllers, leaving them unable to communicate with pilots or see planes landing at the airport on radar.
During the outage, a United Airlines pilot flying from New Orleans radioed the controllers at least five times as he begged for clearance to land at the busy airport, which is just 12 miles outside of New York City.
