Netflix makes major decision over NFL Draft TV rights with Fox and two huge rivals targeting new broadcast contract

And the Draft will be broadcast live on ESPN, ABC and the NFL Network.

However, a new contract starting with the 2026 NFL Draft is now up for grabs.

Front Office Sports claims several big names are in the mix for it.

But one broadcaster will not be competing.

It’s reckoned Netflix have declined to make an offer for the rights.

That’s despite a Christmas Day NFL special breaking streaming records.

And it leaves a host of others battling it out for the contract.

It’s reported that Fox, ESPN and Google are leading the race for the NFL Draft rights from next year.

While Amazon Prime Video could yet enter the fray after hosting Thursday Night Football.

ESPN hope to continue serving up NFL Draft content, having broadcast the very first one back in 1980.

As for Google, they have already enjoyed success with Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV.

And Fox are desperate to capitalize on Tom Brady’s nine-year, $330million contract.
