Neighbours has been airing a fresh love triangle between Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) and Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) who are vying for Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) attention.
The Channel 5 soap has kept the outcome a closely-guarded secret for weeks and it doesn’t seem like any resolution will come soon.
Yesterday, Neighbours unveiled it’s new titles which gave a brief update on the state of some of the couples on Ramsey Street.
Eagle-eyed viewers spotted Amy sitting pretty cosy next to Kyle, which is surprising because at this point in the story, she is engaged to Gary.
Furthermore, spoilers have already revealed Gary will plant a surprise wedding on Amy very soon when they celebrate her birthday.
Many viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on the image, believing Neighbours could have accidentally revealed that Kyle gets the girl.
One wrote: “I’m guessing putting Kyle and Amy in the titles together is telling us something? #Neighbours.”
Another added: “Hmm. Amy and Kyle together in the new titles. That doesn’t bode well for Gary’s surprise wedding.”
A third shared: “They really could have waited a few days til the inevitable disaster before airing them….”
“Fake out , bet she leaves them both and goes back to NYC with Jimmy,” commented a fourth.
In coming episodes, Gary finds out about his son’s true feelings for Amy from Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly).
Naturally, he is horrified to hear his boy hasn’t gotten over his former lover and sets about solidifying his relationship with Amy.
Gary plans to boycott her surprise birthday party with a surprise wedding, and sets the ball rolling so they can tie the knot.
Chloe warns Gary not to go ahead with it, knowing full well that Amy isn’t fond of surprises.
Poor Kyle decides to stay away from the shindig, not wanting to watch his love lost forever.
However, he has a change of heart and decides to tell Amy how she is feeling.
What’s more, Amy is furious when she discovers Gary wants to marry her there and then.
Will Kyle get his chance to rekindle the former flame he had with Amy?
Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Finn Kelly (Rob Mills) is in trouble as it seems his amnesia might not be permanent.
Neighbours airs weekdays on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and is repeated at 5.30pm.
