The wife of longtime “NCIS” star Sean Murray has filed for divorce after nearly two decades of marriage.
Carrie James Murray filed to divorce the 46-year-old actor on Friday, The Blast confirmed. The reason for the separation was not made public.
The former couple met at an event in 2004 and tied the knot the following November. They welcomed their daughter, Caitlyn, in 2007 and son River in 2010.
The divorce filing comes nearly two months after James shared a Reel to Instagram of the pair celebrating her birthday.
In November, James commemorated their 18th anniversary with a carousel full of throwback photos.
“18 years of marriage and you still open the car door and pull out my chair,” wrote James, the founder of female entrepreneur network Business Relationship Alliance. “It’s true when they say, ‘It’s the little things that matter the most.’ I always get to pick what we watch. I always get to be first.”
This time three years ago, Murray and his now-estranged wife put their newly renovated home on display in a feature for People Magazine.
Neither Murray nor James have publicly commented on the divorce.
