DEAR DEIDRE: I WOULD walk out of my marriage today if it wasn’t for my little girl. My wife is making life hell.
She’s always been moody, but her moods are now way off the scale. She puts me down constantly and argues with me all the time.
We’re both 31 and we have had some good times but not any more. Our sex life is non-existent and I feel trapped in a loveless relationship.
There’s a girl who I like at work. We’ve been out for a drink a few times and we get on so well. I dream about leaving my wife and starting again – but my daughter is just two and the thought of leaving her makes me feel sick. I don’t know what to do.

DEIDRE SAYS: Take a step back from the girl at work for now. Tell your wife this can’t carry on. It’s not just about you two but how damaging the rows are for your daughter.
Has your relationship reached the end of the line, or is she depressed and/or ill and needs help? Don’t leave your little girl with her mother if she’s not properly fit to care for her.
