M&S’s viral Ganni dupe shoes are finally back in stock and they’re £285 cheaper

MARKS & Spencer’s buckle slingbacks went viral last year for looking just like Ganni’s ballerina flats, and they’ve finally been restocked.

The high street shoes bear a striking resemblance to Ganni’s £325 designer pair for a fraction of the price, coming in at £285 cheaper.

M&S Patent Buckle Slingback Shoes, £39.50

Marks & Spencer’s £39.50 Patent Buckle Slingbacks caused mass-sell outs last summer.

The on-trend ballet flats feature the same open back and pointed toe as the designer version, with slightly smaller adjustable buckle straps.

Both pairs are made with faux patent leather, and the main difference is that the Ganni version has a buckle across the front of the shoe.

While the Marks & Spencer pair are only available in black, the £350 designer flats come in 16 styles including red, white, leopard print and denim.

Ballet flats have had a resurgence in the last few years, and the trend is here to stay for 2025.

The slingback silhouette with an open back is an elevated version of the classic style, while the statement buckle adds a chic touch.

While I haven’t tried the dupes myself, I could see them pairing perfectly with wide-leg trousers or baggy jeans for a feminine finish.

They could also be styled with satin maxi skirts and dresses, giving the elegance of heels without the discomfort.

The sell-out shoes have received impressive reviews online, with several shoppers commenting on the luxe appearance and comfortable fit.

One wrote: “Lovely, fashionable and so comfortable to wear.

Although they aren’t leather, they look expensive.”

Another added: “Great sandals, love the buckles but I’d size up one size.

They’re perfect for edging up an outfit with a great Ganni-esque style.”

M&S has dropped hundreds of stylish new season pieces in recent weeks, just in time for a spring wardrobe refresh.

M&S’ textured cardigan is trending

M&S Cotton Rich Cardigan, £35

The retailer’s Cotton Rich Cardigan is one of the trending items, and the £35 knit features a textured design with a feminine tie fastening at the front.

Suede-look jackets are also everywhere right now, and M&S’s Utility-Style Lightweight Jacket jumped straight to the top of the bestsellers list.

Retailing for £55, it looks more expensive that it costs with its gathered shoulders and refined collar.

The high street retailer’s Ganni lookalike shoes have sold before, so it’s likely they will again, but M&S shoppers can currently pick them up in UK sizes 3-8.
