One man is dead and another hurt after they crashed their motorcycles trying to navigate the curving entrance to the Belt Parkway off the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge in Brooklyn early Sunday, cops said.
The motorcyclists, ages 46 and 34, were heading off the span from Staten Island into Brooklyn when they both lost control at the Belt Parkway entrance just before 5 a.m., cops said.
Both men crashed into a wall and were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where the older rider died of his injuries. Cops have not yet released his name. The younger driver is expected to recover.
