Money in the Bank: Brock Lesnar to return after WrestleMania loss to set title rematch?

Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE TV ever since losing the Universal Championship last month at WrestleMania 35 to Seth Rollins.

However, Vince McMahon’s promotion announced that The Beast will be part of the wrestling giants’ next Pay-Per-View megashow in Saudi Arabia.

WWE will stage Super ShowDown on  June 7 at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah and The Conqueror could get a rematch for the Universal Championship.

The UFC legend has competed for RAW’s most prestigious title in the promotion’s last two shows in the Arab state.

The six-time world champion retained the Universal Championship at the Greatest Royal Rumble when he defeated Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match.

The ex-WWE Champion then regained the belt when he defeated Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel.

Chances are he will go after the same title at Super ShowDown and his likeliest opponent is Rollins.

Rumours suggest Lesnar could restart his programme with The Beastslayer at Money in the Bank.

That means the MMA hero could interfere in the three-time world champion’s Universal title defence against AJ Styles, same way he did at Hell in a Cell when he interrupted the match between Reigns and Strowman.

That would also make sense as the former Universal Champion seems to have retired from UFC and that would give him the chance to focus more on WWE.

However, it is certain that Lesnar will continue to wrestle on a part-time basis just like he has been doing since 2012 when he returned to the wrestling giants.

If The Beast Incarnate gets involved in the Universal Championship fight at Money in the Bank then that could set up a Triple Threat Match in Saudi Arabia.

That means Lesnar would take on both Styles and Rollins for the title in what would be a stunning encounter between three of WWE’s biggest stars.
