Moment furious OAP stops ‘noisy’ £180k Aston Martin in middle of the street – but who’s in the wrong?

THIS is the moment a furious OAP stops a “noisy” Aston Martin, worth £180,000, in the middle of the street.

The old lady then proceeds to shout at the astonished driver – but opinion differs on who exactly was in the wrong.

The footage, captured by a passerby on May 1, shows the sparkling DB11 supercar revving its way down a posh street in Mayfair, central London.

Meanwhile, the woman can be seen standing in the middle of the street, with her arms firmly outstretched.

The car then grinds to a halt, before the woman strides up to the bonnet shaking her head.

She is then heard shouting at the driver, who she believed to be disturbing the peace.

Meanwhile, shocked onlookers gather in the street to watch the altercation.

And traffic is even held up as the dressing down continues – with a taxi struggling to squeeze through the gap in the road.

Unfortunately for the disgruntled lady, the driver takes no notice – speeding off with his V12 engine roaring for all to hear.

Members of the public were left in stitches by the bizarre interaction – with many accusing the lady of being a jobsworth.

One said: “The most miserable people always think they know best for everyone else.”

Another echoed: “She screams louder than the exhaust, so she is the one disturbing the peace.”

Bizarre crash on busy roundabout sparks debate as some viewers say BOTH drivers are in the wrong – where do you stand-

And a third wrote: Rob added: “Karen is disturbing the peace herself.”

However, others defended the woman, with one chiming in: “She’s right though.”

Another agreed, saying: “She’s right in this case.”

A similar debate was sparked last year when a large black saloon and a small white hatchback crashed side-on as they tried to navigate the roundabout.

Commentators argued fiercely on the issue of lane discipline, with one saying: “My opinion for what it’s worth, white car at fault.”

Another snapped back: “White car can go left or straight ahead which is what it was doing, black car was obviously attempting to change lanes.”

Others thought both cars were ultimately at fault.

One said: “Watched it a few times and both look like in wrong lanes.”

A few weeks before, dashcam footage captured a car being wiped out by a lorry turning into a road.

The footage begins with the driver pulling up behind a stationary red BMW hatchback – ready to turn left at the junction.

However, as the BMW indicates, a lorry turning into the road appears to take the bend at a bad angle and at too much speed.

In doing so, its trailer smashes into the small BMW as it swings around – even causing it to smash back into the car behind it that’s recording.
