The British man who went missing in northern Spain on Thursday has been named as Steven Michael B. by Spanish auhorities.
Police are treating the disappearance of the 48-year-old as one of “maximum concern” and have launched a massive manhunt to try and find him.
Spain’s National Missing Persons Centre CNDES, which is part of the country’s Interior Ministry, has published the first photo of the missing man although it only partially named him.
It said in an online appeal last night: “Steven Michael B disappeared on July 11 in Cremenes in Leon. He is 48, 1.6 metres tall and weighs 65 kilos.
“The last time he was seen he was wearing orange mountain trousers, a red top and dark blue-black mountain boots.”
