Miley Cyrus stalker arrested again months after prison release, restraining order

Miley Cyrus continues to deal with an alleged stalker, who showed up to her Los Angeles home once again on Thursday night, after similar incidents that led to a restraining order last fall.

Alexander Kardalian was detained by the singer’s security who found him holding a teddy bear, which he allegedly wanted to gift to Cyrus, TMZ reported.

The incident marked at least the third time the 52-year-old has shown up on her property since September.

The 31-year-old pop star was granted a temporary restraining order against Kardalian in September, after he showed up at her home just days after being released from prison. In a letter sent to Cyrus from behind bars, Kardalian vowed to return upon his release, just as he’d done twice the year before.

Cyrus says Kardalian, whom she claims suffers from “severe mental health challenges,” first began sending her letters in 2018, in which he allegedly made sexually explicit remarks about the singer and asked her for cash.

But those letters escalated, with the man eventually showing up to her home in the summer of 2022.

On Thursday night, he violated their active restraining order by returning to her residence and was immediately stopped by security, who recognized him from his repeated attempts. Kardalian was not able to reach the main residence, and Cyrus was not home at the time.

The LAPD Threat Management unit is currently investigating the situation. Kardalian was reportedly booked for a misdemeanor violation of a court order.
