MICKEY Rourke was convinced he’d be axed from Celebrity Big Brother days before he was actually given the boot, according to co-star Michael Fabricant.
The former Tory MP, who lost his seat in the 2024 General Election, spoke out about the American actor’s eviction from the spy house on Monday’s This Morning.

His words on the ITV daytime series came after Michael insisted Mickey, 72, wanted to leave the Celebrity Big Brother compound “on day one.”
Michael, 74, who was the first of the CBB 2025 line-up to be evicted on Friday, told how “Mickey was on another planet for the whole TV show.”
He told hosts Alison Hammond, 50, and Dermot O’Leary, 51: “He was always on another planet.
“He told me on Monday he would be out on Thursday.”
Mickey’s departure – and his subsequent flight off to LA – followed the Bafta winner’s formal warning over a homophobic slur during Wednesday’s episode.
A spokesman for the reality show said: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”
The Oscar-nominated star displayed “threatening and aggressive” behaviour towards his housemate Chris Hughes during a disagreement in a Pirate-themed task.
Also on Monday’s This Morning, CBB anchor Will Best joined Michael on the sofa.
He spoke about Mickey’s numerous rule breaks while inside the compound days after fans speculated The Wrestler actor was specifically breaking show rules to bag his whopper fee and be forced to leave.
Talking about his departure from the show, Will said: “His exit was unplanned but not entirely unexpected.
“Just because it’s an extreme environment in there and if Mickey is prone to certain types of behaviour … I guess there’s always the danger.
“But you don’t know how people are going to react in that situation right?”
“I guess where I was surprised was that he crossed the line again so quickly, and the way it happened.”
Celebrity Big Brother 2025 line-up

Celebrity Big Brother is back for a brand new series, with a whole host of stars set to live it up in the famous compound.
Will went on to address Mickey’s sexual comment to Ella Rae Wise, which left the star in tears, as well as his altercation with Chris Hughes.
FIRST EVICTION
Michael found himself up for eviction on Friday along with Hollywood actor Mickey and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.
He was shown the door after receiving the fewest public votes.
Michael was met with cheers from the crowd as he told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best: “I’m very sad to say goodbye to all my friends. They were lovely people.”
Michael had been nominated for eviction by Mickey, Angellica Bell, JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes, Patsy Palmer and Trisha Goddard.
Jack, meanwhile, found himself up following nominations from Angellica, JoJo, Danny Beard, Ella Rae Wise, Donna Preston, Chesney Hawkes, Patsy and Trisha.
JoJo had automatically placed Mickey at risk after being given the gift of a Killer Nomination earlier this week.
Michael, who is known for his eccentric fashion choices, clutched a teddy bear as he left the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday night.
Yet fans are now demanding Michael be reinstated in the spy house following Mickey’s departure.
