He plays guard in college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines and is a four-star recruit.
But Justin has stunned his team by announcing he is entering the transfer portal.
Michigan advanced to the Sweet 16 stage of March Madness this week.
But Pippen will not travel with the team to Atlanta, Georgia for the next stage.
The transfer portal is open for 30 days for Pippen to find a move away from Michigan.
He has played 28 times this season and averaged 6.7 minutes per game.
But the 20-year-old didn’t see the court during the first two rounds of March Madness.
His last game for the Wolverines was on March 9.
Pippen has averaged just 1.6 points per game along with 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists.
According to 247 Sports, he had offers from Stanford, California and Texas A&M.
Michigan will prepare to face Auburn next in the NCAA Tournament Friday.
Pippen’s dad Scottie was a six-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls.
He was part of one of the best teams in history led by Michael Jordan.
Pippen was also named an All-Star seven times.
He already has one son playing in the NBA.

He went undrafted out of Vanderbilt in 2022.
Pippen Jr. was picked up by the Los Angeles Lakers and spent time with their G-League team the South Bay Lakers.
With a performance last November, Pippen Jr. etched a place in history for him and his father.
The pair became the first father-son duo in NBA history to record a triple-double.
