Micah Parsons sends scathing 11-word message to ‘clown’ ex-Dallas Cowboys teammate after free agency exit

MICAH Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence have been involved in a scathing war of words on social media.

The Dallas Cowboys duo were teammates for the past four seasons, since Parsons was drafted in 2021.

Lawrence, 32, ended his decade-long affiliation with the Cowboys earlier this week by signing a three-year contract worth up to $42 million with the Seattle Seahawks.

On his way out, the defensive end made a brutal comment about his former employers.

Change of scenery is always good, but Dallas is my home,” Lawrence told Hawk Blogger. “Made my home there, my family lives there.

I’m forever gonna be there, but I know for sure I’m not going to win a Super Bowl there. So, yeah… we here.”

The Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since 1995.

But Parsons, 25, has taken issue with Lawrence’s comments.

“This is what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s***,” the linebacker fumed, referencing what his former teammate had said.

Lawrence swiftly hit back on X.

“Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth,” he said.

“Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left.”

Earlier this year, Lawrence had suggested that he would like to extend with the Cowboys.

“The ball is in their court,” he told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I’m not only going to play in Dallas.

“I’m going to have other options, but I’d like to stay here. It would be a glorious thing.”

Lawrence played 138 regular seasons games for the Cowboys.

But his last season was plagued by injury.

The former second-round pick played just four games during the 2024 campaign due to a sprained foot.

Parsons, meanwhile, played in 13 games as the Cowboys slumped to a 7-10 season.

The former No.12 overall pick has played in just four playoff games during his career.

Parsons is not the only Cowboys star to have been frustrated by Lawrence’s comments.

Per ESPN, several Dallas players were disappointed.
