Men run down, fatally stab 24-year-old man in Brooklyn

A group of men ran down and fatally stabbed a 24-year-old man in Brooklyn Thursday, cops said.

Around six men attacked the victim outside a Central Ave. deli near Schaefer St. in Bushwick around 3:40 p.m., and he ran for his life, police said.

The attackers then chased the man north on Central Ave. for two blocks, catching him by Eldert St., and stabbing him in the chest, cops said.

The victim staggered for another block before rounding the corner and collapsing on Halsey St., where local residents came to his aid.

“He was on the floor face up stabbed in the chest,” Halsey St. resident Kevin Good, 29, told the Daily News. “The neighbor upstairs tried to give him some water. He held the bottle but he was spilling it all over his face.”
