McDonald’s fans reveal secret ‘menu hack’ with just two menu items – and it’s like the Wendy’s Frosty and fries combo

MCDONALD’S fans looking for a new way to please their taste buds will want to give this delicious hack a try.

One snack expert has found the perfect way to mix-up two classic menu items – and it’s just like the Wendy’s Frosty and fries combo.

Facebook page Snackolator shared a picture of the genius combination with its 189,000 followers.

The image showed two Mcdonald’s hash browns, with a thick wedge of Oreo McFlurry ice cream nestled in between.

The unusual match creates a unique spin on a classic ice cream sandwich.

And it’s ideal for those who loved the sweet and salty mix of a Wendy’s Frosty and fries.

Snackolator said: “I feel like this should be the dessert for the McDonald’s Big (Back) Breakfast!

“One of the most popular menu ‘hacks’ over the last year has been the Hash Brown McFlurry sandwich at McDonald’s.

“This trend started at McDonald’s in Australia (Maccas) and makes a hash brown ice cream sandwich with a McFlurry.”

The unusual combo provides hungry customers with a crisp bite from the hashbrowns, followed by a velvety smooth ice cream middle.

And although you won’t be able to find it as an option on the menu – you simply order the items separately and combine them yourself.

In fact, if Oreo ice cream isn’t your fave, you can use any of the ice cream flavors available in-store.

Which means there are multiple ways to enjoy the yummy snack over and over again.

But Snackolator warned users to eat their creation quickly – as the warm hash browns will melt the ice cream fast.

And if left for too long, you could end up with soggy hash browns – which nobody wants.

Snackolator’s post received 205 likes, but fans in the comments remained unconvinced.

One person quipped: “I’ve been nauseous since I woke up today, this didn’t help!”

While a second wrote: “That’s not a hack, it’s a travesty!”

And a third chimed in: “Yuck.”

While someone else said: “Potatoes and ice cream do not go together. Hashbrowns and ice cream do not go together.”

And somebody else added: “That looks disgusting.”
