Margot Robbie stepped out in high fashion during her first public appearance since her pregnancy was confirmed.
The “Barbie” star donned a stylish white minidress with black polka dots for day 12 of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships in London. The dress, with its asymmetrical hemline and one-shouldered cape — not typical maternity attire — was designed by Pieter Mulier for Alaïa’s fall 2024 collection.
Robbie’s husband, English filmmaker Tom Ackerley, was also in tow for the tennis tournament at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Obviously aware that all eyes (and shutterbugs) were on them, the couple didn’t hesitate packing on the PDA for the cameras while seated on Centre Court for the first semi-final of the day between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.
Robbie and Ackerley — both 34 — first met in 2013 while working on the World War II drama “Suite Française,” in which he served as an assistant director. They reportedly began dating a year later and officially tied the knot at a private wedding in Australia in 2016.
Together, husband and wife are business partners in LuckyChap Entertainment Limited — with locations in Los Angeles and Bromsgrove, England. In its 10th year, the production company boasts heavyweight projects such as Robbie’s Oscar-nominated turn in “I, Tonya,” ” “Saltburn” and “Barbie,” which was the biggest box office-grossing film of 2023.
“[We spend] 24 hours a day [together],” Ackerly said of their relationship during a June interview with The Sunday Times. “It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
