Man wounded in unprovoked gang stabbing on Queens street

A group of teens repeatedly stabbed a 20-year-old man during a bloody unprovoked attack in Queens, police said Wednesday.

The victim was jumped for no apparent reason near 88th Ave. and 85th St. in Woodhaven about 3 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The attackers didn’t say a word as they pulled knives, stabbed their victim multiple times and ran off.

Medics rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was expected to recover.

The victim told police he had never seen the teens before nor had any interaction with him before he was knifed.

The suspects exited the nearby 85th St.-Forest Parkway station moments before the attack, police said.

Cops on Wednesday released surveillance footage of the attackers in the hope someone recognizes them.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
