Man Utd flop Alexis Sanchez urged to join Inter Milan by Romelu Lukaku

Sanchez’s Old Trafford career appears to be nearing an end with Inter strongly linked with the Chilean.

Sanchez joined Manchester United from Arsenal last January though has scored just three goals in 32 games for the Red Devils.

He is on wages of over £500,000 per week but recent reports suggested United are willing to pay a chunk of them for Sanchez to leave on loan.

And the Daily Mail claim that Lukaku is eager for the former Gunners star to switch to Inter Milan.

Lukaku left United this summer and moved to the San Siro and is now reportedly bombarding Sanchez with messages.

The Mail claim that Lukaku have even been telling Sanchez that Milan is a far more beautiful place to live than Manchester.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to be willing to let Sanchez leave, despite saying he expects him to stay.

“Alexis has come in and trained well,” the Norwegian said.

“He is, of course, four or five weeks behind the boys, and he has not played apart from the one behind closed doors here, so I think he’ll see this as an opportunity as well to make his mark.

“I do expect him to stay. There’s a striker there we think is going to be able to score some goals.”

But Red Devils hero Gary Neville believes Sanchez needs to go.

“I welcomed him coming to the club as he’s a tenacious forward that plays across the line and scores goals,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“But it’s been a disaster. I have no idea what’s happened.

“There must be two of him. The one that played for Arsenal and Barcelona and then the one that’s turned up in Manchester.

“They need to get him out of the club.”
