Meanwhile, United are ready to offer Paul Pogba a bumper £500,000-a-week deal to keep him at Old Trafford.
But it’s believed Solskjaer is willing to let the France international leave the club this summer.
Pogba cast a doubt over his future at United when he revealed that he thought it was time for a new challenge.
It’s widely believed that Juventus are keen on attracting their former star back to Turin.
The midfielder reportedly held a phone conversation with Juve boss Maurizio Sarri in a bid to force through a transfer.
Real Madrid are also keen on attracting Pogba to the Bernabeu next season, with Zinedine Zidane a personal admirer of the United man.
United bought Pogba from Juventus three years ago for a Premier League record £89m.
He’s had a mixed time at Old Trafford, with a particularly high profile dispute with former boss Jose Mourinho.
