Man Utd dressing room split over one thing as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to solve problem

The Manchester United squad is reportedly split over differences in contract amounts, according to The Sun.

The Red Devils have a wide disparity in wages among their squad.

The club’s highest earner, Alexis Sanchez, is on a mega £350,000-a-week contract.

On the other end of the scale, Solskjaer’s preferred striker, Marcus Rashford, is reportedly earning just £75,000-a-week.

The Norwegian is also fighting to pull the dressing room together over ill-discipline, it added.

England star Jesse Lingard is facing a backlash from the United hierarchy over his recent social media antics.

He released a foul-mouthed video from his holiday apartment with team-mate Rashford.

The video has prompted a number of pundits to suggest Lingard should be sacked by United.

Meanwhile, United are ready to offer Paul Pogba a bumper £500,000-a-week deal to keep him at Old Trafford.

But it’s believed Solskjaer is willing to let the France international leave the club this summer.

Pogba cast a doubt over his future at United when he revealed that he thought it was time for a new challenge.

It’s widely believed that Juventus are keen on attracting their former star back to Turin.

The midfielder reportedly held a phone conversation with Juve boss Maurizio Sarri in a bid to force through a transfer.

Real Madrid are also keen on attracting Pogba to the Bernabeu next season, with Zinedine Zidane a personal admirer of the United man.

United bought Pogba from Juventus three years ago for a Premier League record £89m.

He’s had a mixed time at Old Trafford, with a particularly high profile dispute with former boss Jose Mourinho.
