Erik ten Hag is bound to be on the agenda amid intense scrutiny of his position as manager, which could boil over with another poor result at Villa Park.
United travel to the West Midlands after winning just three of their opening 10 games in all competitions this season – against Fulham, Southampton and Barnsley.
