Man Utd chiefs' view on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after AZ Alkmaar, Man City and Tottenham wins

It was just over a week ago where Solskjaer appeared back under pressure at Manchester United, having failed to beat the likes of Sheffield United, Astana and Aston Villa.

But, in the last nine days, the Red Devils have picked up vital victories over AZ Alkmaar, Manchester City and Tottenham.

More than the results, is the performances. United deserved to win on each occasion, outplaying their opponents and suggesting their season, despite it’s difficulties so far, may not end in tears after all.

And The Sun say United chiefs are delighted with Solskjaer and the way the team are playing of late.

Goals have been, for the most part this campaign, in short supply.

But United have rediscovered their ruthless touch and, on Thursday night, put four past a hapless Alkmaar side.
