Manchester United are reportedly hopeful of agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho’s permanent return in the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old’s exit would facilitate a swoop for a new winger to go alongside United’s expected pursuit of a striker, and there are a handful of options in the Premier League and beyond.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to demand £45million to part ways with Sancho, and there is an internal agreement to hand Dortmund first refusal for his signature.
Express Sport looks at four options to replace the England international this summer if Ratcliffe cuts United’s losses.
Michael Olise
Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is United’s most likely target amid strong links ahead of the end of the season.
According to Standard Sport, the Red Devils want to make Olise one of the first additions of the Ratcliffe era to upgrade the right wing.
It is claimed that the interest is mutual as the 22-year-old prepares to leave Selhurst Park after snubbing a switch to Chelsea last summer.
Olise’s arrival would cast further doubt on Antony’s future, with Alejandro Garnacho already ahead of the Brazilian flop in the pecking order.

Nico Williams
Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams is being heavily linked with a Premier League move this summer. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are the two most heavily linked.
The 21-year-old has registered six goals and 14 assists this season, and Athletic are reportedly planning for life without him.
His £43m release clause looks likely to be too enticing an opportunity to ignore, and it would fit nicely into United’s budget if Dortmund meet their valuation of Sancho.
Williams can play on either wing, although he prefers the left, which would provide Marcus Rashford with much-needed competition.
Pedro Neto
Pedro Neto is another young winger being strongly touted to secure a heavyweight move this summer despite his continued injury frustrations.
Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly among the 24-year-old’s admirers, having been left impressed by his exploits for Wolves when fit.
He has been limited to just 19 starts in all competitions this term, but he has provided 11 assists and three goals.
United could take a risk after their own injury problems this season, but his expected asking price of around £60m could prove too steep.
