A 50-year-old man has died nearly two weeks after another man delivered him a fatal beating at his Bronx home, police said Sunday.
Mark Gocul, 50, was punched several times in the face on Furman Ave. near E. 239th St. in Wakefield at about 7:30 a.m. June 23, cops said. He showed up at Montefiore Medical Center later in the day, at about 5 p.m., with a swollen, bruised face, cops said.
Gocul succumbed to his injuries Saturday. The city medical examiner has ruled his death a homicide, cops said.
Police have made no arrests.
