Major Undertaker update ahead of SummerSlam: Will WWE legend face Drew McIntyre?

Undertaker had been linked with a major fight against Drew McIntyre at the biggest Pay-Per-View event of the summer following his comeback at Extreme Rules.

Taker reportedly handpicked McIntyre as his next opponent and may share the ring with him in the near future but the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer claims that won’t happen next month in Canada.

The Scottish Psychopath teased a possible encounter with the WWE legend in the upcoming megashow on his personal Twitter account after they shared the ring at Extreme Rules.

Undertaker teamed up with Roman Reigns and defeated the British superstar as well as Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred Tag Team Match.

The Deadman picked up the victory for his team when he delivered a devastating Tombstone Piledriver to McMahon.

But he may not be done with McIntyre yet as even though they may not meet at SummerSlam they could still battle at WrestleMania 36 next year.

The Scotsman cut an intense promo before their recent clash and insisted he is not afraid of the Phenom.

He said: “You know, The Undertaker is the greatest legend in the history of the WWE.

“Generation after generation, Chokeslam after Chokeslam, Tombstone after Tombstone he has struck fear into the hearts of every man he has ever faced.

“But I am no ordinary man.

“I’m a hybrid of every generation and I am not afraid of The Undertaker.

“To be perfectly honest, I don’t give a damn about The Undertaker.”

McIntyre suffered another loss on RAW last Monday night as he was shockingly pinned by Cedric Alexander.

It is not yet certain how The Scottish Terminator will be booked ahead of SummerSlam.
