But while Tony, 53, appeared happy with who the experts had paired him up with, his best man and cousin Steve wasn’t impressed.
During the reception he pulled Tony for a chat outside and insisted he should be married to a younger woman.
Speaking in a VT before the conversation, Steve said: “When I look at Tony, I see someone in his mid-fifties who still looks very good.
“He’s got beautiful natural teeth, he’s tanned and got a full head of hair.

“And I think he would look very charismatic with a younger woman – somebody around 38 to 42.”
Outside the venue, Tony told Steve: “She is older than me, you know? 57.”
He replied: “Holy moly – that’s old! I felt like you should have been awarded somebody a bit younger.”
When Tony told his cousin he is “hard on people”, he said: “She’s a lovely lady but I think she should’ve been 40.
“If you were with someone who was 40, you’d get away with it. That’s what you would’ve been suited for.”
Fans were quick to share their thoughts on social media, with one writing: “First cousin Steve is a total gobsh*te. Ageist shallow prick.”
Another said: “Omg Tony’s cousin Steven is still spewing bitterness and hatred. Why are they even giving him airtime?”
Someone else wrote: “Steven seems to have a strange obsession with age.”
And a fourth added: “I want to punch Steven. Is he jealous?I am raging.”
Another match during the current series that ended over the groom’s disappointment with his bride’s age was Eliot Donovan and Lauren Hall.
Eliot, 35, left his new bride, 37, during their honeymoon and later said: “I want someone who is younger than me, 25, someone who wants to have a family, someone that likes exercise like me.
“I want someone that is, like, not into superficial things.”
