LUKA DONCIC showed his class by covering the cost to restore a vandalized Kobe Bryant mural.
Bryant died aged 41 alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gigi and seven others in a helicopter crash in January 2020.

As revealed by The Sun in 2021, more than 400 murals were created across the globe to mark the first anniversary of the basketball legend’s tragic death.
But one of the paintings depicting Kobe and Gigi in downtown Los Angeles was defaced in an abhorrent act of shameless thuggery.
That prompted artist Louie Palsino to set up a GoFundMe on Tuesday to raise the money to pay for the ‘Mambas Forever’ mural to be restored at 14th and Main streets.
But Doncic quickly stepped in by donating the full $5,000 required in a superb piece of generosity.
The Slovenian, 26, arrived at the Los Angeles Lakers from the Dallas Mavericks in one of the most stunning trades of all time in February.
But despite only being in California for a matter of months, he was keen to play his part and help out.
The point guard said: “It was always important to give back to the community.
“They gave me so much, so I just want to give back.”
Palsino expressed his appreciation to Doncic for “representing us the right way”.
The artist told the Los Angeles Times: “I’d like to say thank you to Luka and I’m proud he is a Laker now and representing Los Angeles and I know Kobe is proud.
“I’m sure this alone will have him in the hearts of everyone in Los Angeles.”
Bryant spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the Lakers.
He won five NBA titles and was twice crowned NBA Finals MVP, an 18-time NBA All-Star and won Olympic gold at Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
