Love Island 2019: Maura Higgins to recouple with Curtis Pritchard as Amy exits?

Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard had a tense heart-to-heart in tonight’s instalment of Love Island and it looks like things between the half girlfriend and boyfriend couple are over for good.

However in a teaser clip for tomorrow night’s show it appears as if Maura Higgins will declare her feelings for Curtis now he has found himself alone.

The clip shows Maura talking to Lucie about her feelings for another islander although viewers do not hear exactly who’s talking about.

She says: “He’s obviously gorgeous, his smile is like f*****g hell, and he’s just very manly and I love that.”

As a picture of Curtis is shown on screen alongside Lucie with a stunned expression on her face, Maura adds: “I want him to teach me how to dance.”

Could Maura have set her sights on Curtis now he has washed his hands of Amy?

Fans have yet to see Maura hint at her affections for Curtis and if she is talking about the ballroom dancer the reveal will come as a huge shock to the other islanders.

Love Island viewers who caught a glimpse of tomorrow night’s action were shocked and took to Twitter to comment on the unlikely couple.

One fan remarked: “Did I just hear what I think I just heard ?????? #loveisland.”

A third shocked viewer said: “The BIGGEST plot twist, no one expected that preview.. #loveisland.”

#loveisland I swear if Maura was talking about Curtis at the end this show is F*****G MADDDD because wtfff,” added a fourth.

Another tweeted: “Maura moving to someone else’s man once again #LoveIsland.”

“Nah I’m not having it anymore #loveisland has got to be scripted…… There’s no way Maura is about to go after Curtis!” wrote a sixth.

If Maura does make a move on Curtis how will Amy react considering she went to the Irish beauty for advice?

Meanwhile dumped islander Elma Pazar has spoken out on what it’s really like on the show.

In an exclusive interview with Elma revealed what it feels like spending time with the other islanders in the villa.

“Basically it’s like going on holiday with all your mates,” she admitted.

“That’s what it felt like even when I walked out I was like ‘I’ve been on my holidays, just coming home’ it’s exactly like that.”

Opening up on her decision to enter the villa, she said: “It was great honestly I’m so glad I did it. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I think I would have regretted it so highly if I didn’t do it.”

Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2
