Fans of Love Island don’t have to wait too much longer for their fix as the new series is dropping on June 3 with Caroline Flack back to present the ITV dating show.
Speculation over who will be entering the villa has been rife, but the show has yet to comment on this year’s line-up.
However, a teaser released by ITV’s Twitter account has hinted at a “big announcement” this coming Monday, which could very likely be the release of the Islanders identities.
The tweet read: “Get the group chat ready. BIG announcement coming here on Monday #DayDotIsComing.”
Fans of the reality show took to Twitter to speculate over what the announcement could be.
One wrote: “Oooh reckon they’re announcing who’s going on?!”
Another remarked with a fingers crossed emoji: “The picture reveals.”
Other viewers couldn’t contain their excitement for the new series of the ITV dating show.
One eager fan tweeted: “So excited!” and another excitable viewer exclaimed: “oooooh YES.”
Meanwhile, a Love Island insider denied Miss Great Britain had backed out of the show days before launch.
Miss Great Britain 2018/19 Kobi-Jean Cole’s personal trainer Matt Fiddes has claimed that the model was initially lined up to join the villa before deciding against it.
In an Instagram post, he said: “There were some discussions regarding inclusion in this series between Kobi and the producers of Love Island during their casting process.
“But it was decided that out of respect for her title and the Miss Great Britain brand she would not be taking part.”
However an insider denied the reports and told Express.co.uk that these claims were “completely untrue.”
It comes after former Islander Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss GB crown after having sex with Alex Bowen on the show in series two.
In other Love Island news, plus size model Jada Sezer could be entering the villa next week.
The model dropped a huge hint on her Instagram story which suggested she was heading for a summer of fun.
Uploading a picture of her pouting, the caption read: “Coming to your TVs soon.”
Jada works as a plus-sized model for Wilhelmina Models and runs a podcast, called Unsubscribe which aims to help people be more positive.
The model has also run the London Marathon in her underwear.
Love Islands 2019 starts Monday, June 3 on ITV2.
