Love Island 2019 had its fourth recoupling tonight (Monday, June 24), which saw seven couples announced and one girl leave the villa. Danny Williams made the Love Island recoupling tonight very tense as he chose between Yewande Biala and Arabella Chi. Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart and Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill are among the other Love Island 2019 couples announced tonight on the ITV 2 series.
Who are the couples on Love Island?
Tommy and Molly-Mae
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague coupled up together for the third time tonight.
Tommy was first coupled with Lucie Donlan but has been with Molly-Mae Hague since she chose him on day five.
Curtis and Amy
Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart coupled up for the fourth time tonight – they’ve been together since Curtis got to make his first coupling choice on day two.
The couple have fallen from bookies’ first favourite to third, but their “half-relationship” still feels strong.
WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN MAURA AND TOM ON LOVE ISLAND?
Michael and Amber
Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill are the current bookies’ favourites, so it’s no surprise that they remained a couple tonight.
Michael was coupled with Yewande for the first two couplings, but this is his second time choosing Amber.
Tom and Maura
Tom Walker got his first chance to choose his coupling tonight and opted for Maura Higgins.
However, the two had a major fight in the lead-up to the coupling, meaning that their Love Island days could be numbered.
HOW MANY WEEKS IS LOVE ISLAND ON FOR?
Jordan and Anna
Jordan Hames also got his first chance to be in a couple tonight and opted to be with Anna Vakili.
Anna was previously with Sherif Lanre before he was removed for ‘breaking show rules’, but has had a number of steamy kisses with Jordan since he entered the villa.
Anton and Lucie
Unlucky-in-love Anton Danyluk got into his fourth couple tonight as he chose Lucie Donlan.
Lucie was with Joe Garratt until he was voted off last week, while Anton has been coupled so far with Amy Hart, Amber Gill and Elma Pazar.
HOW TO WATCH LOVE ISLAND ONLINE
Danny and Arabella
Danny Williams shocked Love Island viewers across the UK by dumping Yewande Biala for Arabella Chi.
Earlier in the Beach Hut, he said: “If I pick Yewande and it goes back to how it is then I’ve only got myself to blame.
“I could be missing out something quite special with Arabella.”
This left Yewande as the fifth person to leave Love Island after Callum MacLeod, Sherif, Elma and Joe.
Love Island 2019 airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
