Love Island 2019 starts this Monday (June 3) on ITV2. At first, 12 hopefuls will enter the villa and many more are likely to join them along the way as they try to find love in the Spanish sun. Amy Hart is one of the original contestants but who is she? Read on to find out more.

Who is Amy Hart? How old is she?

Amy Hart is 26-years-old from Worthing, Sussex.

She worked as an air hostess and cabin crew manager for eight years.

Posting to her 21,000 followers on Instagram last night (Monday, May 27), Amy announced she had left her old job to “start a new adventure.”

She wrote: “Opportunities like this don’t come round every day and they’ll always need people to fly planes so, perhaps it’s not goodbye and just ‘til we meet again’.”

Amy was also crowned Miss United Kingdom in the Miss Beautiful International Pageant in 2017.

Speaking to ITV, Amy said she was the ‘perfect’ islander because she is a “good mix of someone who can be fun and serious.”

Amy also called herself the “Bridget Jones” of her friendship group and said the song ‘Tragedy’ by Steps sums up her love life.

She describes her best qualities are her quick wit, loyalty and her uniqueness.

However, her three worst personality traits according to her are that is never on time, a bit bossy and is selfless.

Amy’s idea of the perfect guy is someone she could travel the world with and loves her as much as she loves them.
