The Sun recently told how Liza had lodged a claim in New York for “a silly amount” more in child support ahead of Liam expecting to bank a whopping £50million through the upcoming Oasis reunion concerts.
Now, we can exclusively reveal that Liam has taken on a top-class lawyer in the legal battle who has a history of representing some of entertainment’s biggest stars.
According to legal papers filed in New York, Liam is working with £500-an-hour lawyer Raoul Felder.
Previously, Raoul has represented clients including Sir Tom Jones and Mick Jagger for similar court cases.

He lists Tom, Mick and Liam as his clients under the paternity section of his official website.
In addition to those three, the New York-based lawyer has also helped out boxer Mike Tyson and the son of singer Frank Sinatra.
Before Liam’s lawyer revelation, sources told The Sun that Liza appeared to be taking advantage of the fact Liam is set to recieve a bumper payday this year.
They said: “It seems Liza and her legal team are milking the fact Liam is set for a big Oasis payday on his new tour and they’re after more money.
“He’s always paid his child maintenance fees, which are generous.
“She is asking for a silly amount of money.
“It’s certainly added some extra stress ahead of the tour.”
Liam, 52, and brother Noel, 57, are reported to be getting around £50million each from their upcoming world tour.
The current case was filed in the New York Supreme Court and was listed as Liza Ghorbani vs Liam Gallagher “child support”.
It is the first claim since a confidential deal in 2015, before which Liza was said to be getting £3,000 a month.
Music writer Liza said at the time: “I’m just really relieved this ordeal is over for the sake of my daughter.”
