Lewis Hamilton dons Ferrari colours for first time as close ally returns behind the scenes

Lewis Hamilton has appeared in Ferrari’s iconic colours for the first time since joining the Italian team ahead of the new campaign.

The seven-time world champion arrived in Maranello earlier this week to begin work in his new surroundings. On Instagram, he posted a picture of himself outside the home of Enzo Ferrari, sparking a frenzy with the post gaining over five million likes.

Hamilton has since followed up by sharing an image of himself wearing the iconic red overalls he will sport during his debut season with Ferrari. He kept the caption short and sweet, writing: “FIRST TIME IN RED.”
