A MAJOR car manufacturer is recalling thousands of its vehicles due to camera issues sparking risks of accident.
American motor company, Ford, is recalling almost 129,000 of its Bronco models between 2022 and 2023.

The Ford Bronco SUVs are feared to have faults with their 360-degree view camera not displaying rearview video when the vehicle is reversing.
Bronco models with the standard backup camera are not included in the recall.
Drivers of the model are being warned blue or distorted image “intermittently” on their SYNC screens.
This is related to when the vehicle is in reverse or 360-degree view is selected and available during low-speed operation.
The issue is believed to be caused by fretting corrosion and internal connector misalignment.
This subsequently leads to degraded circuit continuity in the rearview camera, where the video loses its frames.
Concerns are being raised that this camera fault elevates the chance of potential crashes.
Ford has said it will replace the rearview cameras on these vehicles at no cost to owners.
This is by law and according to United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) documents.
Owners who have already paid out-of-pocket for these repairs before the recall are eligible for reimbursement.
Ford began contacting impacted owners via letter on Monday.
Automakers like Ford try to contact every owner when recalls are issued, but don’t always reach them all.
This recall comes just after another major car manufacturer, General Motors, recalled almost 600,000 of its cars over engine problems.
